BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee (BCBST) and some physician groups are participating in a pilot program, which will allow eligible members and their physician to use alternative methods to communicate regarding their health needs. The pilot program includes benefits, which give members greater access to medical care through the use of telephone consultations, on line visits/consultations and group visits instead of an office visit when appropriate.
