In-Network Plan

This plan covers non-emergency care from providers in BlueHPN. Health care services from out-of-network, non-BlueHPN providers will only be covered for urgent and emergency care. In an emergency, you should always go to the closest ER. Your plan covers emergency care no matter where you get it. If you’re traveling outside the BlueHPN service area, your plan will also cover urgent care no matter where you get it.

Find a BlueHPN doctor

It’s important to make sure your hospitals, doctors and other providers are part of the BlueHPN network. If you see a provider that’s out-of-network, you might have to pay more.

To find BlueHPN providers, visit bcbst.com/blueHPN. You can browse BlueHPN providers by category, specialty or provider name. You can also use our Cost Estimator tool to preview the cost of procedures, treatments and tests as well as your out-of-pocket expenses.

Remember to stay in-network

BlueHPN doctors may not be in-network at all locations. Where you get care matters—and seeing a provider outside the BlueHPN network could mean paying the full cost. You should always check the address of any provider, facility, specialist or lab you go to for care to make sure it’s in Blue HPN.
